The converter reads 21 embroidery formats and writes 18 validated output formats. PHB, PHC and PCM are accepted as sources only because reliable, tested writers are not available in the current production engine.

## Readable and writable formats

PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX, PEC, U01, TBF, HUS, SEW, SHV, PCS, VIP, TAP, DSB, DSZ and KSM can be read as sources and written as outputs.

## Input-only formats

PHB, PHC and PCM can be read as conversion sources, but they cannot be selected as output formats.

## Common machine ecosystems

- PES and PEC: Brother and Baby Lock workflows.
- DST, DSB and DSZ: Tajima and commercial multi-needle workflows.
- JEF and SEW: Janome-family workflows.
- EXP: Melco and Bernina-compatible workflows.

## Unsupported outputs

EMB, ART, JAN, JEF+ and JPX are not offered as outputs. They are proprietary or editable project formats that the current production engine cannot safely write and validate. The service does not relabel another file to imitate one of these formats.
