The server reads the machine-file structure and stitch commands. Renaming another file to .pcs is rejected.

Short-lived processing

Viewer uploads are streamed to the restricted engine and are not added to conversion history or free-job usage.

PCS compatibility: PCS supports at most 16 colours and converts jumps and trims to movement records.
