The server reads the machine-file structure and stitch commands. Renaming another file to .pcm is rejected.

Short-lived processing

Viewer uploads are streamed to the restricted engine and are not added to conversion history or free-job usage.

PCM compatibility: PCM is accepted as a source format; reliable open-source PCM writing is not available.
